About
Giorgio Lazzarone brought to C.M.M. Yachting the experience gained alongside his father, Gianpiero Lazzarone, in the Italian yachting industry. Over a career spanning more than forty years, Gianpiero built performance boats and contributed to a boat that raced in the 1983 Offshore World Championship.
C.M.M. turnkey-built and exported more than 60 touring boats to Europe in the 12–16 metre range, including the Solare 40, 43, 46 and 47 and the Blade 42 and 50.
Commercial projects include the Pilot 40 operating in Southern Italy, the Solare 13.50 offshore-platform service boat, three CMM 50 passenger boats for Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and a 100-passenger sightseeing boat.
The company has worked on projects ranging from research into an environmentally conscious hybrid-electric displacement hull to the turnkey construction of two epoxy sailing catamarans designed for ocean crossings.
Today C.M.M. is a partner for series, custom and refit projects, providing refit for composite, steel and aluminium motor and sailing yachts, high-technology composite manufacturing and marine interior work.
